KeMU Hosts Gravity CBC Resource Centre at the Main Campus in Meru County.
Kenya Methodist University (KeMU) has taken another significant step in advancing Competency Based Education (CBE) by hosting the Gravity CBC/CBE Resource Centre at the Main Campus in Meru which will be launched by the Vice Chancellor, Rev. Prof. John Kobia Ataya on Monday 20th July 2026.

The CEO of Gravity CBE Centre Mr. Duncan M. Arimi proudly received the approved copies of our Pathways Made Easier series of books from KICD CEO, Prof. Charles Ong'ondo. The series is the product of extensive research, expert consultations and a deep understanding of the Competency-Based Education (CBE) curriculum by the Gravity CBE Centre team.

KeMU Hosts Gravity CBC Resource Centre at the Main Campus in Meru
Kenya Methodist University (KeMU) has taken another significant step in advancing Competency Based Education (CBE) by hosting the Gravity CBC/CBE Resource Centre at the Main Campus in Meru which will be launched by the Vice Chancellor, Rev. Prof. John Kobia Ataya on Monday 20th July 2026.
The centre, established by Gravity, is the second CBC/CBE Resource Centre to be hosted outside Nairobi in Kenya. This CBC/CBE resource center will serve as a regional hub where schools from Meru County and the surrounding regions will visit to learn, interact and gain practical insights into the implementation of the Competency-Based Curriculum (CBC).
On Tuesday, 14th July 2026, trucks carrying learning materials and equipment arrived at the Main Campus for the establishment of the Gravity CBC Resource Centre. The team from Gravity was received by the Chair of the Department of Education, Dr. James Kubai, marking the beginning of an exciting partnership.
Modern education encourages collaboration, digital literacy, research, leadership, environmental awareness, and community engagement. Every educational journey contributes to developing well-rounded learners prepared for future careers and responsible citizenship.

Today, Gravity CBC Centre was honoured to participate in the KPSA 29th Annual Head Teachers and Principals Conference at Kabarak University, under the theme: "Transforming Schools for Sustainable Excellence in a Changing Educational Landscape." Our team, led by our CEO, Mr. Duncan Arimi, had the privilege of joining a panel discussion alongside distinguished education leaders,
contributing to the national conversation on the future of education in Kenya. We are truly humbled to have our voice and experience represented at such a significant national forum.
